Designed with efficiency in mind, the new LED lighting uses significantly less energy than traditional lighting. The project is expected to save 487,868 kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually, which will reduce operating cost and maintenance over time. These improvements align with the Owasso Public Works mission statement to “serve customers with quality, efficiency, and character.”
Like the Owasso Rams, the city is charging forward by leading the way in smart energy decisions that benefit the community. By investing in energy-efficient infrastructure from the ground up, the City of Owasso is demonstrating how thoughtful planning can deliver lasting savings and sustainability. PSO is proud to partner with communities like Owasso to support energy efficiency improvements that make a real impact. Projects like this not only help reduce energy demand but also keep dollars local—allowing cities to reinvest savings into other important services.
